Special transport arrangements as Ma-on nears HK

Rail and MTR Bus service frequencies are being increased to peak hour service to meet passenger demand as the Observatory will issue No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal at or before 7.25 pm today.

Passengers are advised to allow additional travel time as crowd management measures may be implemented in some stations.

MTR:


Tsuen Wan Line: 2-minute intervals

Kwun Tong Line: 2-minute intervals

Island Line: 2-minute intervals

South Island Line: 3-minute intervals

Tseung Kwan O Line

North Point Station - Po Lam Station: 2.5- 4-minute intervals

North Point Station - Lohas Park Station: 6.5-minute intervals

Tung Chung Line

Hong Kong Station - Tsing Yi Station: 3- 4-minute intervals

Hong Kong Station - Tung Chung Station: 6- 8-minute intervals

Disneyland Resort Line: 5-minute intervals

Airport Express: 15-minute intervals

East Rail Line

Admiralty Station - Sheung Shui Station: 3-4 -minute intervals

Tuen Ma Line: 3-minute intervals

Light Rail: 5-20 minute intervals

MTR Bus: 5-15 minute intervals

KMB and LWB:


Routes are operating normally. KMB and LWB are closely monitoring the passenger demand and enhancing services when necessary.

Citybus and NWFB:


Citybus and NWFB routes are operating normally. Services will be strengthened according to the actual situation to facilitate commuters getting off work.

Due to effect of tropical cyclone, the following ferry services will be or have been suspended.
