Seven people, including six kindergarteners, were injured on Friday after a school bus crashed into the tail end of a truck in Kowloon Bay.
The accident happened at around 1.19pm on Kwun Tong Road near the Kowloon Bay MTR Station. The school bus was said to have lost control before crashing into the truck.
The front part of the school bus was badly damaged with its front windshield shattered. The school driver was once trapped and had injuries to his legs, while the six kindergarteners on board, aged between 4 to 6, suffered minor injuries.
All seven of them were brought to United Christian Hospital for treatment.
The Transport Department said part of the lanes of Kwun Tong Road (Mong Kok bound) near Kowloon Bay MTR Station which were closed due to the traffic accident are now re-opened to all traffic.
The Department also reminded road users that the traffic queue takes time to disperse.
