Royals name Boaty McBoatface after Sir David Attenborough
The ship which the public voted to call Boaty McBoatface has instead been officially named after Sir David Attenborough. William made reference to the vetoed name in his speech after the polar research ship was officially named the RRS Sir David Attenborough in an official ceremony in Merseyside.
