Prince Faisal: Crown Prince's tour reflects KSA's vision of achieving prosperity, development

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said the participation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in the G20 Summit in Indonesia, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum summit in Thailand, and the visit of several Asian countries, comes as an extension of Kingdom's pioneering role in contributing to the unification of international efforts to face the challenges facing the world.

Prince Faisal stressed that Saudi Arabia’s financial support for the Pandemic Fund, worth $50 million, represents a continuation of the Kingdom's initiative during its presidency of the G20 in 2020, aimed at providing financing to low- and middle-income countries and regions to enhance their preventive capacity against future pandemics.

Prince Faisal appreciated what the Crown Prince affirmed, during his participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum, of the Kingdom's keenness and interest in enhancing cooperation and joint and multilateral action to serve international peace and security, prosperity, and well-being for the peoples of the region.

He stressed that the visit of the Crown Prince to Indonesia, Republic of Korea, and Thailand, and the fruitful discussions, reflect the Kingdom’s keenness to consolidate aspects of bilateral cooperation in all fields and to discuss the challenges the world is witnessing and the efforts made in this regard.

Prince Faisal also stressed that the Crown Prince was keen, during his fruitful tour, on the importance of intensifying cooperation with everyone, and presenting effective initiatives and solutions to protect peoples and preserve the planet from climate change, in addition to supporting the goals of sustainable development.

Prince Faisal stressed that the tour of the Crown Prince reflects the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in working with all brotherly and friendly countries towards achieving goals and aspirations that enhance prosperity and development for countries.
