Observatory reminds public of cooler Monday

It will become "appreciably cooler" on Monday morning, the observatory reminded the public in a special weather tip.

A cold front will cross the coast of Guangdong on Sunday night to Monday morning. Local winds will strengthen from the north and there will be a few rain patches.

Temperatures in the urban areas will fall from a maximum of around 30 degrees on Sunday to a minimum of around 17 degrees on Monday morning, and it will be a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories.

Members of the public should be aware of the change in temperature overnight, the observatory said.
