No more quarantine-free return from Macau to HK

People returning to Hong Kong from Macau must undergo quarantine starting 10pm tonight, the government announced.

They can no longer enjoy the quarantine-free return under the Return2HK or Come2HK schemes.

Those who have yet to received the vaccine will have to undergo 14-day quarantine at their homes. For those who had completed vaccination course, they are allowed to undergo 7-day quarantine at homes.

The arrangement came after earlier a security guard working in a hotel in Macau tested positive for the virus, marking the 65th case of the casino city.
