No arrests in HK$300,000 Dragon Center jade burglary

A burglary at Dragon Center in Sham Shui Po saw a jewelry shop have its lock broken and about 100 pieces of jade accessories worth about HK$300,000 go missing. 

The incident was reported to police at 11.25am by the 66-year-old shopkeeper surnamed Hung. He returned to the shop located next to an escalator on the sixth floor only to find that the lock of the gate was broken, and the shop had been looted and trashed. 

Upon further inspection, Hung found about 100 pieces of jade accessories worth about HK$300,000 missing. 

Cops later arrived at the scene to take a statement from Hung and listed the case as a burglary. 

The case is now handled by the Sham Shui Po district crime investigation team, and no one has been arrested so far.
