New university entrance requirements of JUPAS from 2024

In response to the new grading system introduced by the Education Bureau for the now renamed Liberal Studies - Citizenship and Social Development, the general entrance requirements for HKDSE applicants will be revised from “3322” to “332A.”

The revised Liberal Studies subject of the HKDSE is now left with only two grades - “Attained (A)” and “Not Attained (NA).”

The Heads of Universities Committee today announced that in view of the latest change, the general entrance requirements of the four core subjects for HKDSE applicants will change accordingly, beginning from the admission of the 2024/25 intake.

The “332A” refers to achieving levels “332” and “Attained (A)” in the four core subjects, namely Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Citizenship and Social Development.
