Motorcyclist seriously injured after crashing into Lamborghini

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a Lamborghini on Sunday morning in Shek O.

The 26-year-old female motorcyclist - whose surname is Lee - was riding along Shek O Road at around 8am and crashed into a white Lamborghini when she drove through a turn and lost control.

In the collision, Lee was thrown into the air and fell on the road with injuries to her limbs and hip. The driver of the Lamborghini also suffered injuries. They were sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment.

The motorbike fell apart and was hit by another white car driving behind it due to no time to brake.

An 'L-plate', which represented learner driver under instruction, was found at the scene after the incident. It was confirmed to belong to the motorbike.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
