MICI: misuse of the safe-conduct platform will lead to sanctions

The Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) warned those natural or legal persons who use the MICI platform to validate passports for people who are not part of their company or who are not related to the activities authorized by the Ministry of Health, will be sanctioned by the authorities.

Through a statement, the MICI indicated that it has detected "unscrupulous people" who use information from operating notices to validate third-party passports, without the consent or prior authorization of the companies or their legal representatives.

Thus, the MICI called on all the processors of the companies and their legal representatives to be vigilant of the information that appears on the safe-conduct validation platform, which can be done from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Public is encouraged to report to denuncias@mici.gob.pa any irrregularities related to the safe-conducts validated on the MICI platform.
