Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly flew private to Ibiza for Duchess' birthday

According to reports in several Spanish newspapers, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry flew with their son Archie on a private jet following the Duchess' 38th birthday. The Duchess of Sussex previously visited the island with her friend Misha Nonoo.

The Majorca Daily Bulletin is reporting that the royal couple stayed in a private villa on the island and traveled with a security detail. According to Vanity Fair Spain, the couple also hired local escorts to help keep a low profile.

This wasn’t Prince Harry’s first summer excursion. He reportedly joined the Google Camp in Sicily, where A-listers including former President Obama, actor Leonardo DiCaprio, billionaire David Geffen and singer Harry Styles met to discuss climate change. Following the camp, the prince appeared to join his wife and child for the birthday trip.

The Duchess of Sussex has traveled to Ibiza in the past. She ventured there in 2016 alongside fashion designer Misha Nonoo, who is said to have introduced her to Prince Harry.

Ahead of the trip, Markle reportedly celebrated her birthday with a carrot cake from London bakery Luminary, which supports women who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration or sex trafficking.

Markle likes the cake company so much that she featured them in the Vogue issue she guest-edited.
