Mayor of San Miguelito tests positive for coronavirus

The mayor of San Miguelito, Héctor Valdés Carrasquilla, confirmed this Monday, June 8, that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

Valdés Carrasquilla gave the information in a video that he published on social networks, in which he indicates that in compliance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, he is in quarantine.

The mayor did not specify where he was infected, but in the message he indicated that he acquired the virus while he was working in the community.

"I will continue to organize and supervise the work remotely to meet the needs of the San Miguelito district, I will soon be back," said Valdés Carrasquilla.
