MAS presidential formula reinforces candidacy for election in Bolivia

La Paz, Mar 1 (Prensa Latina) The presidential formula of Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca, from the Movement Towards Socialism-Political Instrument for the Sovereignty of the Peoples (MAS-IPSP), seeks on Sunday to strengthen the presidential candidacy prior to the May 3 general elections in Bolivia.

Arce and Choquehuanca are meeting on Sunday with the population of Santa Cruz, more than 850 kilometers southwest of La Paz, as a continuation of the 'Proccess of Change' and 'Bolivia Deserves More' programs.

On his Twitter account, the MAS-IPSP presidential candidate of Bolivia's Plurinational State called on all inhabitants in the Santa Cruz Valleys to accompany them in the campaign rally to fight for the restoration of democracy in the country.

On the other hand, self-proclaimed President and Candidate Jeanine Añez on Saturday opened a tent in El Alto, amid incidents and shouts of áKillers! Killers!

As Prensa Wiphala reported, the militarization of the area did not prevent the people, who do not forget the Senkata and Sacaba massacres, from protesting.

The MAS-IPSP political force expressed gratitude for the solidarity from several researchers and international media that replicated a publication in The Washington Post, in relation to the fraud hypothesis drawn up by the Organization of American States (OAS) and Secretary General Luis Almagro about the October elections.
