Man arrested for stealing wines and spirits worth over HK$6,000 from supermarket

A 46-year-old man was arrested Thursday for stealing 14 bottles of red wine and spirits worth over HK$6,000 from a Tseung Kwan O supermarket. 

The man surnamed Cheung allegedly stole the bottles of wine and spirits valued at HK$6,116 from the supermarket on Tong Tak Street two days in a row on Monday and Tuesday. 

He was arrested for shop theft by Tseung Kwan O police and is now remanded in custody. 

The case is now handled by Tseung Kwan O crime investigation team.
