Magyar Telekom delivers strong results

Magyar Telekom ended the second quarter with 1,267,925 TV subscribers in its home market Hungary.

This, according to the company in its latest set of results, was 6.4% more than in the same period last year.

At the same time, its blended TV ARPU rose by 1.4% to HUF3,338 (€9.45), while total TV revenues were 7.9% higher at HUF12,635 million.

Magyar Telekom’s subsidiary in North Macedonia also saw growth in its TV business, ending the second quarter with 144,499 subscribers, or 4.7% more than a year earlier.

Its TV revenues were 4% higher at HUF1,341 million.

Magyar Telekom Group had total revenues of HUF166,141 million (+5.7%) and EBITDA of HUF59,273 million (+5.6%) in Q2.

Its profit was 28.1% higher at HUF13,504 million.
