London mayor calls parliament shutdown 'outrage'

London Mayor Sadiq Khan expressed his outraged that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has moved to shut down Parliament for several weeks. Khan made the comments in Warsaw on Monday where he paid tribute at a memorial to Jews who fought and died in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

During a joint news conference with Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, Khan called on politicians from all parties to work collectively to prevent Britain from leaving the EU without a deal.

Britain is due to exit the bloc on October 31.
