Last Batch of 'Spend-to-Redeem Local Tours' up for grabs on Wed

Hong Kong Tourism Board’s last batch of Spend-to-Redeem “Local Tours” of more than 40 itineraries will open for registration starting on Wednesday.

Similar to the previous batches, the new itineraries cover four themes – Lively Culture, Neighbourhoods, Scenic Harbour and Gastro-Fantasies. Some of them include eco-tours, water taxi rides across Victoria Harbour, potted planting, as well as visiting KOL’s live room to learn about modern culture.

The tours also offer attractive culinary experiences, including hotel lunch/dinner buffet, Japanese and Korean barbeque, all you-can-eat dim sum, seafood meal and thematic restaurant lunch, making the tours the go-to choices for food lovers.

For citizens who spend HK$800 or more at designated retail and dining outlets in the city, they can refer to the campaign website to choose their itinerary and book directly with respective tour operators starting 10am on June 15.

All tours have a limited quota and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful participants who have their tours confirmed are required to submit their spending receipts to the tour operator and pay a deposit of HK$100.

Together with the previous two batches, a total of 60,000 local tour places are offered in this round of the Spend-to-Redeem “Local Tours”, according to the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
