KMB has launched a trial function allowing passengers to check the estimated travel time from several bus stations in Tuen Mun and Yuen Long to different districts.
Starting Thursday, the function is available at at bus stops at Tuen Mun Pier Bus Terminus, Lung Mun, Yoho Mall I and Park Yoho.
Passengers can read from a monitor the suggested bus routes to various destinations, including Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Sham Shui Po, Tsuen Wan and Kowloon Bay. They can also check the esimated travel time to those districts in real time.
Those who prefer to read the info on their phones can scan a QR code put up at the stations.
During the trial, the function is available in Chinese only.
The bus company also announced that starting this month, free 5G Wi-fi is available on bus P960, P968 and seven routes running in northern district, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai.
