Simon Yam isn’t called the ‘King of Property’ for no reason. The 66-year-old has such a keen eye for acquiring real estate that he’s amassed over 30 properties around the world, including in Hongkong, London and Shanghai.

While he remains tight-lipped on how much he's invested, he has shared that he has wealth managers to “make long-term plans for [him] and [his] family and to make preparations for inheritance matters for the future”.

The latest addition to his ever-growing list of assets is an apartment in the swanky Regent On The Park development, which is located in the atas Mid-Levels district in Hongkong.

The 1.094 sq ft unit, which is on a low floor, was reportedly bought by Simon for HK$37.4mil (S$6.4mil). It was officially registered under Simon’s name on April 27.

This isn’t the only real estate transaction of Simon's in recent months — he reportedly sold a ground floor shop unit on Ki Lung Street in the bustling Sham Shui Po shopping area earlier this year. According to reports, he sold it for HK$35mil (S$6mil) and made a whopping HK$20mil (S$3.43mil) profit.

And this is why he’s the King of Property.
