January 6 capitol riot: big questions, unanswered.

REP. HIGGINS: "Did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters inside The Capitol on January 6th prior to the doors being opened?"

FBI DIR. WRAY: "I have to be very careful about what I can say."

What I hear between the lines is: yes. We had our people inside. We cannot share with the public if they are the violent people or the peaceful demonstrators. The committee therefore cannot jump to any conclusion without this information.

Mr. WRAY is obviously right. He cannot and should not expose secret operation and working methods.
And that’s exactly why a politically motivated committee is wrong: whatever thy will conclude will be based on the less important parts of the big picture.

The problem is not the FBI. The problem is conducting a politically motivated committee that has no moral authority to carry investigation.
