In the last 24 hours 465 people were arrested for breaching the quarantine

National Police apprehended a total of 465 people in the last 24 hours for failing to comply with the quarantine measures established by the health authorities in the face of the new coronavirus pandemic.

National Police details that of the total number of citizens, 453 were adults and 12 were minors.

38 vehicles were towed out for breaching Executive Decree 266, and another 18 cars were returned back, for not keeping the documents requested for circulation.

Police officers managed also confiscated 2 firearms and apprehended 45 people searched for different crimes; They also found three packages of illicit substances.

The National Police also reported that two vehicles that had been stolen from residences in Las Cumbres and Santa Librada, 7 were recovered in Panama West. Four people were arrested who attempted to flee.
