Hungarian farmers harvested 5.3 million tonnes of wheat last year, 4% more than in 2020, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show.
Bad weather reduced the maize harvest by 25% to 6.3 million tonnes, KSH said.
The barley harvest increased 15% to 1.7 million tonnes, a record high.
KSH noted that farm gate prices for all of Hungary's main crops "rose significantly" in 2021.
