Hundreds citizens visit exhibition which sells pre-packaged foods

Exhibitions held in the Convention and Exhibition Centre attracted hundreds of visitors during the five-day Easter holiday.

Hong Kong Food Festival was among those. As eating and drinking were not allowed in the exhibition hall area, exhibitors only sold pre-packaged or covered takeaway foods.

Hong Kong Mega Showcase, e-Expo & Auto HK and Hong Kong Homex also held exhibitions in the Convention and Exhibition Centre.

All exhibitors and staff were required to undergo coronavirus testing, and they had to present relevant certificates before entering the hall.

Visitors have to scan the “Leave Home Safe” QR code to register personal information to enter the venue.

One of the visitors who purchased a thousand dollar seafood said he could only spend money locally under the pandemic.

With sufficient social-distancing measures, he was not worried about the local transmission risk.
