Hong Kong Leader "Willing" to Meet People After National Security Law

A day before her annual policy address, Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said that she is ready to meet the people of Hong Kong.

At the weekly media briefly on Tuesday ahead of the Executive Council meeting, she told reporters that she would very much like to go into the community saying "law and order has been restored" after the implementation of the national security law in July.

"Chaos has been replaced by peacefulness. I am very willing, very ready to go to meet the people of Hong Kong," she said.
