Li Ka Shing Foundation uploaded on its Facebook page today a picture of Li Ka-shing being vaccinated, along with a caption calling on people to also get the jab.
The caption wrote, “I have got my vaccination today, have you?”
According to reports, Li was vaccinated with the
BioNTech vaccine at the HK Sanatorium & Hospital today.
Civil Service Secretary Patrick Nip Tak-kuen, the minister heading the city’s vaccination drive, also reposted the foundation’s photo on his social media, thanking Li for setting an example for Hong Kong citizens.
He also urged members of the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to put an end to the city’s pandemic to allow for early restoration of normal life.
