HKUST student died after falling in campus

A 23-year-old student of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology fell to his death inside campus on Wednesday.

At around 5pm, the student fell from L1 floor of a multi-story car park – which is around five floors from the ground.

He was certified dead after he was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital.

Sources said he attended an exam before his fall, and a note was found on him.

The case will be passed to a coroner.
