HK Tourism Board rolls out new 64,000-quota ‘Local Tours’ program with a twist

The Hong Kong Tourism Board on Thursday introduced a new round of Spend-to-Redeem “Local Tours”, also adding a new historical heritage theme to its four existing themes of itineraries.

The program will offer around 2,000 tours of more than 350 specially arranged itineraries under five themes including Historical Heritage, Lively Culture, Neighbourhoods, Scenic Harbour, and Gastro-Fantasies.

From today, citizens can begin collecting their machine-printed dining and retail receipts -- having spent HK$800 or more -- to sign up for the tours starting from 9 November.

Details of the itineraries will be available on the campaign website (https://www.discoverhongkong.com/hk-eng/local-tours) on November 8.
