HK$800,000 properties lost as Yau Ma Tei tenement block burglarized

A three-floor tenement building in Yau Ma Tei was suspected to be targeted by serial burglary thieves and a total of HK$800,000 worth of jewelry and electrical appliances were stolen.

The tenement building concerned is located at 562 Canton Road. Police received a report at around 11am on Monday and a preliminary investigation found that several units were burglarized.

It was understood that a total of HK$800,000 worth of jewelry and electrical appliances were stolen. No one has yet been arrested.
