Hiker reported missing at "Suicide Cliff” died

A retired male insurance broker, 58, was found unconscious at Kowloon Peak (Fei Ngo Shan) in Hong Kong after a day’s search. He died in hospital after being airlifted from the hiking trail which is dubbed as “Suicide Cliff”, one of the city’s most treacherous and dangerous climbs.

The man was said to have left his home yesterday morning and failed to return home.

The police force said they received a call at around 7pm about the incident, and the Government Flying Service and firefighters were mobilized for the search.

After an overnight search, the man, unconscious, was found at around 1pm today.
