Stocks bounced at the open in Hong Kong today. The benchmark Hang Seng Index shot up by 300 points, or 1.06 percent at 28,584.01.
Tecent Holdings (0700) added 2.42 percent at HK$698.00. Alibaba Group (9988) has lost 0.32 percent at HK$246.00.
The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 9,619.70, rising by 261.59 points, or 2.80 percent.
