Guangdong Province opens over 9,000 jobs to Hong Kong and Macau graduates

Guangdong province has launched a centralized recruitment initiative targeting university graduates from Hong Kong and Macau with registrations beginning today.

Nine cities in the Greater Bay Area have taken part in the recruitment initiative and have simultaneously offered 9,464 jobs this year to the graduates.

The recruitment initiative has 20,000 jobs lined up for the country’s university graduates, of which fresh graduates from Hong Kong and Macau can apply for 9,464 of them.

These job openings are located in mainland cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and more.

A majority of the job openings on offer are in the medical and education sectors, with hospitals and health institutions offering a total of 4,154 positions.

The initiative can allow university graduates and young people from Hong Kong and Macau to apply for job openings in the Greater Bay Area just like mainland residents, according to a Guangdong Provincial Government official.
