The fourth batch of district councilors in Hong Kong will swear to uphold the Basic Law and bear allegiance to the special administrative region next Friday.
Members from five district councils in the New Territories – Tuen Mun, Islands, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing and Yuen Long – will attend the ceremony held at North Point Community Hall.
The oath-taking will also be administered by the Secretary for Home Affairs Caspar Tsui Ying-wai.
