Four more goats found dead in a Ta Kwu Ling farm

Four more goats were found dead on Saturday at a farm in Phoenix Lake Village in Ta Kwu Ling, following the incident reported yesterday where four goats were previously found dead at the same farm.

A farm owner surnamed Yu reported to police around noon on Friday, saying that he found four goats dead on in the farm. One of the dead goats had only its head left with its body missing.

Today the owner reported to the police again at around 7 in the morning, saying he found another four goats dead on the farm. Officers and staffers from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals then arrived at the scene to investigate.

The latest examination found bites on the neck of the four goat bodies. Officers didn't find anything suspicious and listed the case as animal carcass found.

The Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department has yet to confirm the cause of death for the eight goats in the two cases.
