Police are now hunting down four men after they abducted a 23-year-old woman, the ex-girlfriend of one of the four, to a Kwai Chung flat and beat her up early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place around 4am today when the young woman surnamed Lau was walking along Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei with two friends.

Lau's ex-boyfriend and three others jumped out of a black Benz that reached the scene and forcefully took Lau on board. They then drove Lau to a unit at Well Fung Industrial Center on Ta Chuen Ping Street in Kwai Chung, where they violently assaulted her, caused bruises to her eyes and face, and left injuries all over her body.

Lau was later released by the four and her two friends rushed to Kwai Chung to pick her up. They then retreated to a motel on Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei and reported to police.

Officers located Lau in the Yau Ma Tei motel after receiving the report and initiated investigations. Lau was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital and the case was listed an illegal detention and assault causing actual bodily harm.

The case is now handled by Yau Tsim district crime investigation team and no one has been arrested so far.
