The “Blue Sky with a White Sun” flag, a symbol of Taiwan, was found in a National Day celebration post published by Secretary for the Environment Wong Kam-sing on Instagram on Friday.
Wong posted a beautiful seaview photo on Instagram around 6pm, with the caption saying “National Day, long holidays”.
He also typed the same words as a hashtag in the same post,. Yet the tag was followed by the emoji of the “Blue Sky with a White Sun” which is a symbol of Taiwan.
The emoticon was soon erased.
A secretary to Wong replied to media inquiries that the Wong's social media account was suspectedly attacked by hacker. They have changed the passcode immediately.
