The peace of Santa Fe neighborhood in Buena Vista, Tocumen was disturbed Sunday afternoon after two hooded men arrived at one of their residences and without saying a word, shot a man and his 7-year-old son.
Both wounded were transported by a neighbor and the Police to the Irma Lourdes Tzanetatos Hospital. The boy had a bullet wound to his head and the father had several bullet wounds. The father died on arrival at the medical center.
Hours later, the 7-year-old was transferred to the Pediatric Specialties Hospital, where he died.
The National Police, together Attorney General's office, arrested on Monday two male suspects to the case, age 20 and 25.
Authorities are investigating the possibility that the double homicide is a retaliation for a drug seizure that was carried out in recent days in the area.
