Ex-Hong Kong football team player arrested over debt recovery in Aberdeen

Police have arrested a man and a woman linked to 16 debt collection cases in Aberdeen. The man was said to be former Hong Kong football team player Tommy Chuck Yiu-kwok.

Officers arrested the two, aged 26 and 18 respectively, while they were splashing red paint outside a residential unit in Wah Fu Estate in Aberdeen.

The force also suspected the two to be responsible for another 15 debt collection cases in the city.

Chuck, 26, is currently playing for Wong Tai Sin - a football team in the Hong Kong First Division League. He and her 18-year-old girlfriend were both arrested for alleged criminal damage.
