A New Year countdown concert featuring drones and fireworks will be held at Central Harbourfront, organized by New TV.
The 2021 Beautiful Night Hong Kong Countdown Concert, costing about HK$30 million, will take place at Central Harbourfront Event Space, New TV announced on Tuesday. The concert will be joined by 15 pop singers and bands, whose lineup has yet to be announced.
Apart from performances by a large fleet of drones, there will also be a fireworks display.
The event will start at 9.30pm on December 31. The countdown session will be streamed live worldwide.
A total of 16,000 seats will be offered and the tickets will be available for sale Thursday next week (Nov 25). Ticketing details will be announced in due course.
Part of the revenue generated from ticket sales will be donated to Hong Kong Live Performance and Production Industry Association.
