Domestic SMEs expect 11% increase in sales revenue

Domestic SMEs expect an average 11% increase in sales revenue and a 6% increase in profit in the year ahead, according to the K&H confidence index, writes business daily Világgazdaság.

The values ​​are the highest since the 17-year calculation of the index. According to the results, the biggest jump was among micro-companies with an annual turnover of between HUF 20-100 million, which showed 13.5% revenue growth after 8.6% expansion in the first quarter.

The managers of small enterprises with a turnover of between HUF 100 and 300 million and medium-sized enterprises over HUF 300 million are planning a financial growth of 8.4 and 7.5%, respectively. And in the entire SME sector, 7% of businesses fear a decline in sales in the coming months.
