Prince Harry, his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and her mother were involved in a “near catastrophic” car chase while being followed by paparazzi on Tuesday night in New York

Prince Harry and Meghan's security team have described a terrifying paparazzi chase in New York City on Tuesday. A member of the team, Chris Sanchez, said the Sussexes were pursued by a group of photographers after leaving an awards ceremony, resulting in a chaotic scene with multiple vehicles and a significant risk to public safety.

The couple eventually arrived at their apartment, shaken but unharmed.

Sanchez said he was concerned for the safety of both the couple and the public, and praised the Sussexes' security team for handling the situation by the book.

The New York Police Department assisted in the incident, noting that there were no reported collisions, injuries, or arrests.
