An artist impression of Ho Man Tin Government Complex was revealed in a document handed to Kowloon City District Council.
The government announced in the 2018-19 Budget to set aside HK$8 billion to build facilities in 18 districts. Ho Man Tin Government Complex is the project for Kowloon City.
According to the document, the site is located at Ho Man Tin Estate, close to Ho Man Tin Estate King Man House, with a buildable gross floor area of about 1,744 square meters.
The floor plan showed that the government complex will have eight levels and a rooftop structure.
It will include community hall which can house 450 people and a multi-purpose conference room.
It would also include a residential care home for the elderly cum day care unit, a neighborhood elderly center, an integrated community center for mental wellness, and a district health center.
The Architectural Services Department has finished a conceptual design for the proposed government complex and submitted it to the district council for discussion.
