BCI Asia Awards - one of Asia’s most respected annual awards dedicated to the building and design industry recognizes fresh winners this year.
For the past 17 years, BCI Awards have been recognising architectural brilliance of the highest caliber in seven Asian territories including Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and this year is no exception.
Later today, Hong Kong’s 10 most-active property developers, architecture firms and contractor companies will be awarded BCI Asia’s Top 10 Awards at the annual BCI Asia Awards ceremony at Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong.
The portfolios of the top developers are valued at USD8.51 billion, while the portfolios of these elite architecture firms comprise USD9.71 billion and the top contractors are valued at USD24.3 billion worth of properties scheduled to start construction in Hong Kong.
These firms were chosen based on the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year, weighted by the extent of their sustainability efforts. For architecture firms, pre-tender projects were included to recognise early incorporation of Green design efforts.
This year, BCI ASIA TOP 10 DEVELOPERS 2022 goes to China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd; China Resources Land (Overseas) Limited; Chinachem Group; Henderson Land Development Company Limited; K. Wah International Holdings Limited; Kerry Properties Limited; New World Development Company Limited; Sino Land Company Limited; Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited; and Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Limited.
Meanwhile, BCI ASIA TOP 10 ARCHITECTS 2022 goes to Aedas; Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Limited; DLN Architects Limited; Hsin Yieh Architects & Engineers Ltd.; Leigh & Orange Limited; Leigh & Orange Limited; LWK + PARTNERS; P&T Group; Ronald Lu & Partners; Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd.; and Wong Tung & Partners Limited.
On the other hand, BCI ASIA TOP 10 CONTRACTORS 2022 goes to Build King Holdings Limited; Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited; China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited; CR Construction Company Limited; Gammon Construction Limited; Hip Hing Construction Co., Ltd.; Paul Y. Engineering Group Limited; SOCAM Development Limited; Unistress Building Construction Limited; and Yau Lee Construction Co Ltd.
Apart from the top 10 awards, the ceremony also showcased regional winners and merit recipients of Asia’ leading Green design competition FuturArc Prize and BCI Asia Interior Design Awards.
