Police officers were called to the Sheung Shui MTR station on Friday after railway station staff found a bag of CBD products abandoned inside the first-class compartment of a train.
MTR staff were said to have found a tote bag under a passenger seat inside the first-class compartment, which seemed to hold various products containing CBD, including gummies, crystals, vape cartridges, and other unidentifiable liquids.
Officers arrived on the scene to pick up the items after receiving the report and classified the case as 'discovery of dangerous drugs', and no arrests have been made.
Starting from February 1, Cannabidiol (CBD) has been incorporated into the 'Dangerous Drug Ordinance', which makes importing, illegally manufacturing, possessing, and consuming CBD illegal.
