Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor presented honors and awards to 232 recipients on the second day of a prize-giving ceremony at the Government House on Sunday.

Among them, 80 received the Medal of Honour and 152 the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service.

Lam, who is recovering from a fracture on her right elbow following a fall at the Government House last month, held the medal with her right hand and pinned it onto awardees’ shirt with her left hand.

Among the recipients of the medal was veteran radio host Candy Chea Shuk-mui.

In a Facebook post, Lam said she deliberately set up picture-perfect-taking spots at Government House for people attending the ceremony running from Saturday until Monday.

Lam also noted this could be the last time she is hosting the event, as she revealed that she had tried out one of the spots for herself, picturing a flower bed named Building a Bright Future Together -- a description that's linked to this year’s policy address.
