This year the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority will try out to release the exam results of HKDSE via SMS on July 21.
The message showing the candidates' results will be sent to those who have provided their SMS phone numbers to the authority starting from 9am.
School candidates can collect their results notices according to the arrangement of respective schools, while results notices will be sent by post to reach private candidates on July 21 as well.
The online results enquiry service will be made available to private and evening school candidates.
The authority reminded the candidates to verified the personal information on the result notices to be matching.
The release of results will be postponed if Typhoon signal No. 8 or Black rainstorm signal is issued at or before 5am. It will be postponed to July 22 if Typhoon signal No. 8 or Black rainstorm signal is canceled after 1pm.
Candidates wishing to apply for rechecking and remarking of results should file their applications no later than July 26.
