A citybus Route 796P side-turned on LOHAS Park Road in Tseung Kwan O at around 5 pm on Sunday, with 31 people injured as of 6 pm.
Rescuers are now at the scene helping 31 injured, including 15 men, 14 women and two kids. Nine of them were sent to the hospital.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The Transport Department said at 5:45 pm that due to a traffic accident, part of the lanes of Lohas Park Road (Wan Po Road bound) near LOHAS Park MTR Station is closed to all traffic.
