Four passengers were injured in an incident on Monday when a double-decker bus crashed into a construction site in Kwun Tong.
Police received a report around 7:30am that a KMB bus crashed into an I-beam installed around a construction site at 130 Hip Wo Street. The glass windows of the upper decker shattered, and part of the bus was torn to a crack.
Officers rushed to the site, which belongs to an expansion project of the United Christian Hospital, and found four passengers on the upper deck were injured.
One man and two women aged between 20 and 30 and a 10-year-old boy were rushed to the hospital. They were found with slight bruises on their eyes and heads.
The cause of the incident is under investigation, with the bus driver Lam, 47, not injured.
