Britain asks its citizens to leave Afghanistan immediately

Britain asked its citizens to leave Afghanistan immediately after the deterioration of the security situation in the country.

Saturday, the British Foreign Office warned its citizens not to rely on its embassy in Kabul for emergency evacuations.

The BBC said that the British warning came after the Taliban announced its control of the city of Sheberghan, the capital of Jawzjan province, which is the second capital of the provinces to fall into the hands of the movement within 24 hours.
