Bosnia industrial output growth slows in October

Industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose 8.2% year-on-year in October of 2021, easing from a 9.3% increase in the previous month, data from the country's Agency for Statistics (BHAS) showed on Thursday.

Industrial output slowed for manufactured products (9.9% vs 10.2% in September) and declined for mining & quarrying (-2.1% vs 1.7%).

Meanwhile, production quickened for electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (9.4% vs 7.1%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production went down by 0.2% compared to a 2.1% rise in September.

In a separate report, the Sarajevo-based agency said that producer prices in Bosnia jumped by 7% on year in October, following a 5.8% increase in the previous month. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 1.1%, following a 0.6% rise in the previous month.
