The government has announced another ambush-style lockdown in Yau Ma Tei, cordoning off buildings on 7A-27A Pitt Street, 2-50 Tung On Street, 833-889 Canton Road and 10-16 Dundas Street.
Residents within the restricted area were told to remain at home overnight until they undergo mandatory coronavirus testing and get a negative result.
The lockdown orders took effect at 7pm. Residents in the area were expected to take the test by 2am tomorrow, with the aim of completing the operations by around 7am tomorrow morning to allow residents to return to work.
